Meta officially launched a monthly subscription service for casual users around the world, consisting of Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus, for about $3.99 per month; the WhatsApp Plus segment is about $2.99 per month, to generate additional revenue in addition to advertising costs.
The main feature on Instagram Plus is that the total number of people can click through the story. It can create an unlimited list of Story viewers (expanded from the original with just Close Friends). It can secretly display other stories without being reputed to visit. It can post content on the main profile without disturbing the feed of the followers, including extending the Story to more than 24 hours and creating Spotlight Stories. There is also a Super Heart feature for Plus members. Facebook Plus also provides similar features.
For the WhatsApp Plus side, it focuses mainly on customizing personal needs, such as application theme selection, unique ringtone settings, increasing the number of chats that can be pinned to the top, and premium stickers. Meta confirms that these Plus packages are clearly fragmented and do not replace existing Meta Verified identity verification services, and do not have any ad closures.
