According to a report by the website, Kazinform has mentioned a handshake between the Maltese government and OpenAI to distribute ChatGPT Plus, which is usually a paid ChatGPT plan of 699 baht per month at a price in Thailand for free to all Maltese citizens within the AI for All program, which has been implemented in the past May under the supervision of the Malta Digital Innovation Authority under the condition that those interested in using it must complete a course from the University of Malta. To teach learners what AI can or can't do and how to use it responsibly, whether it's at home or in the workplace.

According to Silvio Schembri, Minister for Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects of Malta, the program was created to give all citizens, whatever their background, access to practice AI, which is the most innovative tool today. As the head of OpenAI for Counties, George Osborne said of this collaboration that AI has become a national necessity. If Malta has already started, other countries will follow suit.

OpenAI also revealed that the company is currently in discussions with the governments of Estonia and Greece about creating a domestic AI application study program.
