ถ้าใครกำลังหา “แบรนด์ในห้าง” ที่ซื้อฝากได้ง่าย ราคาไม่แรง และรสชาติคงที่ ปังสยามคือหนึ่งในตัวเลือกที่ผมชอบมาก เพราะเดินผ่านทีไรได้กลิ่นขนมปังอบใหม่ๆ แล้วใจอ่อนตลอด แถมหลายสาขาจะมีป้าย “สดใหม่ทุกวัน” ทำให้มั่นใจเรื่องความนุ่มและความหอม สำหรับคนที่เสิร์ชหา “ปัง สยาม เมนู” แล้วเลือกไม่ถูก ผมมีแนวทางเลือกแบบเร็วๆ ตามโอกาสกินมาฝาก (เป็นทริคส่วนตัวที่ใช้จริงเวลาเจอบูธในห้างหรือจุดต่อรถ) 1) ถ้าจะซื้อไปกินระหว่างเดิน/บนรถ: ขนมปังแลบลิ้น เมนูนี้ชิ้นเล็กพอดีคำ กินง่าย ไม่เลอะมือมาก ไส้มายองเนสหวานนำเค็มตามกับไส้กรอกไก่คือเข้ากันดี ผมมักซื้อเป็นชิ้น/เป็นแพ็คไว้แก้หิวตอนบ่ายๆ กินเพลินจนหมดแบบไม่รู้ตัว 2) ถ้าซื้อฝากผู้ใหญ่หรือสายคิดถึงวัยเด็ก: เค้กโบราณหน้าแยมส้ม หน้าตาคลาสสิกมาก ฟีลยุค 90s กินแล้วได้ความนุ่มฟูกับแยมส้มเปรี้ยวหวานตัดเลี่ยน เหมาะเป็นของฝาก/ของวางโต๊ะทำงานแบบ “ชิ้นเดียวจบ” แต่แนะนำดูวันที่ผลิตหรือความสดหน้าตู้เล็กน้อย เพื่อให้ได้เนื้อเค้กที่นุ่มที่สุด 3) ถ้าจะกินคู่กาแฟตอนเช้า: ขนมปังเนยสด หรือสังขยาใบเตย ผมชอบสังขยาใบเตยเพราะหอมชัดและไม่หวานตัดขา กินกับกาแฟคือเข้ากันสุดๆ ส่วนเนยสดจะได้ความเรียบง่าย กินได้ทุกวัน เหมาะกับคนไม่อยากได้รสจัด อีกอย่างที่ช่วยให้คุ้มคือ “โปร 3 ชิ้น/3 แพ็ค 110 บาท” (แล้วแต่รายการที่ร่วมโปรในแต่ละสาขา) ผมมักใช้วิธีจัดเซ็ตแบบมีทั้งคาว-หวาน เช่น แลบลิ้น 1 + สังขยา 1 + เค้กโบราณ 1 จะได้ไม่เบื่อและแบ่งกับเพื่อนได้พอดี สุดท้าย ถ้าใครอยากได้ประสบการณ์ครบๆ ลองสังเกตว่าบางจุดจะมีเครื่องดื่มหรือโซน KOPE PUNG SIAM ให้ซื้อคู่กันด้วย ผมชอบซื้อเครื่องดื่มมาช่วยตัดหวาน ทำให้กินขนมได้ฟินขึ้นแบบไม่เลี่ยน ใครมีเมนูลับของปังสยามที่อยากป้ายยา เพิ่มได้เลยครับ ผมพร้อมลองตาม!
