Ghibli Park 🧹

Travelled all the way from Singapore to Kyoto to Aichi to see the Ghibli Park, an absolute bucket list destination of mine. Ghibli has been a part of my childhood memories and it felt so surreal to see the sets in person. It felt like I was a part of the movies I grew up watching. #studioghibli #howlsmovingcastle #totoro #junkjournal #ghiblipark

I recommend arriving early to fully enjoy the different areas without crowds. The park features unique zones such as Dondoko Forest, where you can see Totoro's house up close, and the Mononoke-themed sections, immersing you in the beloved Studio Ghibli stories. Don't miss grabbing exclusive Ghibli Park magnets and souvenirs that beautifully capture the art and warmth of the park. For food lovers, trying local specialties like Monjayaki near Nagoya or seasonal treats inside the park adds to the adventure. Also, take advantage of the well-marked walkways and maps to navigate areas like the Global Center and the Green Square efficiently. Many visitors find the thematic design and detailed recreations of Princess Mononoke’s world and Howl's Moving Castle areas particularly captivating. Bring a camera to capture the picturesque landscape and iconic film-inspired spots. Transportation nearby is convenient; Koen Nishi Station provides easy access, and several bus routes serve the park's entrances. Facilities including cafes, restrooms, and resting lounges are well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable visit. Whether you're a dedicated fan or new to Studio Ghibli, immersing yourself in this magical environment provides an unforgettable journey into one of Japan’s most enchanting attractions.
