Holy grail skin care

#emergingcreator

Hi guys, it’s been a long time but I wanted to start posting again. Had to take a break due to some ongoing sinus issues but I’m back in business.

There is no right way to do skin care because everyone’s skin is so different. Personally, I have normal to oily skin AND sensitive skin. I’ve struggled with finding a skin care routine that works best for me, that doesn’t result in skin purging or breakouts.

Skin care products listed in order I use them in.

Skincare Routine

Step 1: Cetaphil-Daily Facial Cleanser (removes dirt and oil)

Step 2: Byoma-Hydrating Milky Toner (evens out skin tone and hydrates)

Step 3: Good Molecules- Yerba Mate Wake up gel (under the eyes)

Step 4: CeraVe-Daily Moisturizer Lotion (lock everything in)

Read moreAfter dealing with sensitive and combination skin myself, I completely understand how challenging it can be to find a skincare routine that balances hydration with oil control while minimizing irritation. What I love about the products listed here is that they focus on gentle yet effective ingredients. For example, Cetaphil’s Daily Facial Cleanser is known for deeply cleansing without stripping the skin’s natural barrier, which is crucial for sensitive skin types. Adding a hydrating toner like Byoma’s Milky Toner helps even out skin tone and provides necessary moisture, making the skin feel plump and refreshed. I’ve found that toners rich in humectants such as glycerin and hyaluronic acid work exceptionally well to maintain that hydration balance. The Good Molecules Yerba Mate Wake Up Gel is a fantastic under-eye product that helps reduce puffiness and brighten the under-eye area — perfect for those looking for a refreshing eye treatment in the morning. Its lightweight formula absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. Finally, locking everything in with a moisturizer like CeraVe’s Daily Moisturizer, which contains essential ceramides and vitamins B3 and B5, helps restore and strengthen the skin’s protective barrier. This step is especially important when using multiple products as it seals in moisture and keeps skin protected throughout the day. Consistency and patience are key when testing a new routine. It’s also helpful to introduce products one at a time to monitor how your skin responds. Everyone’s skin is unique, so listening to your skin and adjusting accordingly is the best approach. If you struggle with breakouts or sensitivities, always patch-test before fully incorporating new products. In my experience, selecting dermatologist-developed skincare like these brands ensures that the formulations are backed by scientific research and cater to various skin concerns. I highly recommend trying this routine if you have normal to oily sensitive skin and want a straightforward but effective approach to holy grail skincare.
