Don’t get me wrong - I’m extremely grateful I was not having a heart attack 🙏🏼 Honestly.

But there’s something about having to justify your experience and not being gaslit or shamed into thinking it’s ‘all in your head’. The underlying frustration at not fully understanding what your body is going through and trying not to feel like it’s betraying you. Finding self love in the midst of everything.

Sometimes it feels like a test I didn’t sign up for or feeling like I took a wrong turn or maybe a punishment.

I know none of these are the case, but we all spiral at times and that’s the human experience 😅 I’m grateful for the ability to be able to get care, figure out what’s going on - regardless of how long the process may or may not be - and ensure I have answers not only for myself, but my daughter, should the need arise 🤍
