... Read moreI absolutely cannot wait for the first romance book fair of 2026, right here in Charlotte, North Carolina! If you're anything like me, a dedicated romance reader, then you know how rare and wonderful it is to find an event exclusively dedicated to our favorite genre. This isn't just any book fair; it's a haven for romance lovers, promising swoon-worthy reads across all spice levels – from sweet and wholesome to deliciously steamy. What makes this particular fair stand out, besides being 100% romance-focused, is the welcoming atmosphere and incredible perks. Happening on February 7, 2026, from 12pm to 5pm at Triple C. Brewing Company (located at 2900 Griffith St., Charlotte, NC 28203), it’s easy to get to, and best of all, there’s free admission AND free parking! That means more money for books and bookish merch, which is always a win in my opinion. I’m especially excited about the variety of books promised. While the article mentions filtering out genres, this fair eliminates that step for us! It’s all romance, all the time. For my paranormal romance fans, or those who enjoy urban fantasies, dystopia, and even closed-door romances, you'll find plenty to dive into. The 'Until Equinox series' is highlighted as a perfect example, which makes me think there will be some truly unique finds from indie authors, potentially offering stories you won't easily stumble upon in mainstream bookstores. Beyond the books, the promise of vendors offering bookish merchandise and services is enticing. I’m already imagining unique candles, artisanal bookmarks, literary-themed art prints, and maybe even some exclusive author signings. It’s the perfect opportunity to find gifts for fellow bookworms, or treat yourself to something special that celebrates your love for reading. To make the most of your visit, I always recommend arriving a little early to beat the crowds and get first dibs on popular titles or limited-edition items. Bring a reusable tote bag – you’ll thank yourself when you’re carrying a haul of new books! Don’t be shy about chatting with the authors and vendors; it’s a fantastic way to discover new voices and connect with the vibrant bookish community. Huge thanks to Front Paige Media for hosting this event and making it possible to bring so many of us together. It really shows their dedication to fostering connections within the book community throughout the state. I’m eagerly counting down the days and already clearing space on my shelves for all the new additions! Hope to see you there, ready to discover your next favorite romance read!
