Other ways to use sticky notes ✨ pt. 2

be sure to check out the previous post if you haven’t! here are more ideas that you can do to use up your sticky notes

1. write down motivating quotes - and stick it in front of you! we always need to see them to remind ourselves to push through difficult times 🙌🏻

2. visual reminders - sometimes things or habits we wanna get into is easy said than done. and that’s pretty much why i make my eyes understand before my brain does. for example, i have a clock that tells me if I need to wake up at 7AM, I’ll need to be asleep by 11PM for adequate sleep hours! AND I stick it in front of me so I’m constantly reminded of not to be awake past that time to help get into the habit of sleeping early.

3. brain dump - when you wanna write down something you want to remember for the moment, this is the analogue way :-))

... Read moreSticky notes are an incredibly versatile tool that can serve multiple purposes beyond just reminders. For starters, they’re fantastic for enhancing productivity. Utilizing sticky notes to jot down brainstorming ideas or planning tasks can provide a clear visual overview of your projects. You might also consider using them to create a habit tracker, where you reward yourself by removing a sticky note after completing a specific task, ultimately fostering your motivation. Moreover, sticky notes can be used in group settings for collaborative brainstorming sessions. By encouraging team members to write their thoughts on sticky notes and post them on a board, it promotes interaction and collective input. Plus, it’s easier to organize and categorize ideas visually, which helps in strategic planning. In the educational context, students can benefit from sticky notes as efficient study aids. They can write down crucial information, vocabulary, or formulas on them and stick them on their study spaces for easy memorization. Another method is to use sticky notes on textbooks or notepads for quick annotations, making revision sessions more productive. Lastly, don’t underestimate the emotional power of sticky notes. By placing encouraging messages where you often work or study, you can cultivate a positive mindset that drives you to persevere through challenging periods. Make the most out of these colorful paper notes, and watch your productivity soar!

I put my notes on them and then put them in like my notebook or my text book and also use them as book marks

My therapist gave me the idea of putting my negative or scary thoughts on a sticky note and crumpling them up and throwing them somewhere. I throw my negative thoughts into an old animal cracker container :)
