Memo pads collection
These are some of my other memo pads (that aren’t post-it’s) and most of them I got from Oomomo except for the Suatelier memo pads. the Suatelier ones are my favorite and I use them in my journal spreads often, despite they don’t stick very well LOL, the design is minimal and aesthetic, I highly recommend. my other fave is proabably the sweet animal xD

As a fellow stationery enthusiast, I'm always on the hunt for those special pieces that make my daily planning and journaling truly delightful. My little collection of memo pads, beyond the usual sticky notes, brings so much joy! You might have seen some of my treasures, but I wanted to dive deeper into why Japanese memo pads, in particular, have captured my heart and how I use them to add a touch of aesthetic flair to my life. First off, let’s talk about the incredible variety you find with Japanese stationery. It's not just about functionality; it's about the artistry. Brands like Suatelier, which are among my absolute favorites, stand out for their beautifully minimal designs. I adore how their 'REVIEW MEMO' and 'DAILY PLAN' sticky notes come in such a range of subtle colors and patterns – from plain pastels to clever grids and stripes. Even though they sometimes don't stick as perfectly as I'd wish, their aesthetic appeal for my journal spreads is simply unmatched. They add that sophisticated, clean look I strive for. Beyond Suatelier, I've found so many gems at places like Oomomo. They have an amazing selection of Japanese stationery that’s both practical and incredibly cute. I’ve picked up some adorable pieces, like those depicting retro Japanese cafes and shops, which instantly transport me to a cozy Tokyo street corner when I glance at my planner. And who can resist the charm of a Moomin memo pad or the sleekness of an ILMILY MILD design? These aren't just paper; they're tiny pieces of art! One series I absolutely adore is the sweet animal series. Imagine cupcakes, animals in glasses, sandwiches, cake slices, and puddings – all turned into the most charming memo pads. They're perfect for adding a pop of whimsy to my study notes or leaving a cheerful message for myself. When I'm creating a flat lay for my journal or study session, these decorative elements, alongside more functional daily planners and review memos, make the whole setup look incredibly inviting and inspiring. It's not just about organizing; it's about making the process enjoyable and visually appealing. For those of you wondering about creating your own aesthetic flat lay with your stationery, here’s a tip: focus on a cohesive color palette or theme. I often pick a few of my favorite memo pads – maybe a Suatelier grid, a Japanese street scene design, and a fun cartoon character pad – and arrange them with my pens and highlighters. A close-up shot of these meticulously chosen items can make your notes look incredibly professional and inspiring. It’s all about showcasing the beauty of each piece. These memo pads aren't just for decoration, though. I use them constantly for highlighting notes in a creative way – not with a highlighter pen, but by jotting down key points on a distinctive memo pad and sticking it directly into my textbook or notebook. This visually segregates important information, making it easier to review later. Whether it's a quick reminder on a review memo or a detailed plan on a daily planner, these small tools play a huge role in keeping me organized and motivated. Discovering new Japanese memo pads and integrating them into my routine has truly elevated my stationery game!
