This brand makes the cutest mechanical pencils

These are the Tombow Mono graph shaker pencils, so far I have collected an excessive amount…don’t even ask me what I really use the rest for LOL

As a stationery enthusiast, these Tombow mechanical pencils are among my favorite mechanical pencils to use for studying because they just feel so nice to write with! it has a sturdy and long lead sleeve, which I find makes my writing feel a bit more precise compared to other pencils.

I also like the shaker mechanism, the generous twist-out eraser, and also the pen clip at the side that locks the lead in case it accidentally extends inside your pen case!

My first Mono graph pencil was the sakura pink color, it’s their OG colors other than the blue and white logo xD I wanted one because everyone was talking about this mechanical pencil at some point hehe, but I ended up loving it and eventually collected more in different designs…

... Read moreOkay, so I just had to share more about my absolute favorite writing tool: the Tombow Mono Graph Shaker mechanical pencil! If you're anything like me – a total stationery addict – these pens are a game-changer. I mentioned how much I love them for studying, but let's really dive into why these aren't just cute, but incredibly functional. First off, the 'shaker' mechanism is pure genius. Seriously, no more clicking the top button repeatedly! You just give the pencil a little shake, and the lead extends effortlessly. It’s thanks to a clever internal mechanism that pushes the lead forward. When you twist the cap to engage the lead lock clip (a feature I absolutely adore for preventing accidental lead breakage in my pencil case!), it also disables the shaker, which is super smart. This design means you can focus on your notes without interruption, and it feels so satisfying to use. Then there's the lead sleeve and tip. The original article mentioned it's sturdy and long, which is key for precision. I've found that the well-designed tip area gives me a much better view of what I'm writing, which is crucial for detailed work or drawing. It prevents the lead from wobbling, making my handwriting feel so much neater. Plus, these pencils are compatible with standard leads, so refills are a breeze. And let's not forget the details that make these pencils truly stand out in my collection. Beyond the classic colors like the sakura pink (my very first!), Tombow has released so many incredible designs. My collection includes everything from beautiful pastel hues and clear barrels to the super fun character-themed editions, like the adorable Rilakkuma and Miffy designs I've picked up. Seriously, they're too cute to resist! I also have some of the newer Mono Graph Grip pencils, which feature an upgraded soft grip that makes long writing sessions even more comfortable. It's amazing how many variations they've come out with, like the sheer-stone and faded blue series, continually adding to their charm. The generous twist-out eraser is another lifesaver. It’s not just a tiny nub; you get a substantial amount of eraser that works really well, and the best part? It's refillable! This saves me from having to carry a separate eraser, keeping my pencil case lighter. Ultimately, whether you're a student, an artist, or just someone who appreciates good stationery, the Tombow Mono Graph Shaker mechanical pencil offers an unbeatable combination of innovative features, comfortable design, and aesthetic appeal. This meticulous attention to detail, from the lead mechanism to the ergonomic grip and the charming aesthetics, is what makes the Tombow Mono Graph my undisputed champion among mechanical pencils. They truly elevate the everyday writing experience, and that's why I keep collecting them!
