coolest highlighter in my pen case!

✒️ Pilot Frixion Light

I found this at Daiso a while ago and I don’t think I talked about these erasable highlighters that often. I remember seeing the frixion pens as a kid, and their technology eventually got expanded through their highlighters (yes, they’ve been around for a long time). I think they only had neon colors before, but now they’ve got extensive colors and types of pens of the frixion series. Even so, I only own the highlighter.

the “eraser” at the edge of the pen is actually just hard silicone, it’s not like an actual eraser. how it erases, is that it uses heat produced from friction, created when erasing the ink on paper. so that means you make the ink disappear under heat! that also means you should NEVER put your notes with frixion inks in general under harsh sunlight or everything will disappear!!

the color I got is a pretty shade of blue, it’s called sky blue even though it’s not indicated on the highlighter. the ink flow is a bit streaky, feels much drier than regular water-based highlighter. I think it’s convenient if you’re using it on borrowed books or textbooks!
