This is just the beginning for you. Believe it. No matter what you see, this. Is. Just. The. Beginning. You don’t d*ie here. Your life doesn’t end in that small town, that small life, that small mindset.
Though the beginning may be small, thy latter end will greatly increase. Keep your head high, and your eyes focused on Jesus. He started the work in you, He’ll complete it, He’s never left anything half done, ever.
... Read moreHave you ever felt misunderstood, underestimated, or like you constantly have to 'prove your right' to the world, or even to yourself? I know that feeling all too well. It’s easy to look at your current circumstances, your 'small beginnings,' and feel like that’s all there is. But I’m here to tell you, from my own journey, that your best chapter hasn't even started yet. This isn't just wishful thinking; it's a profound truth rooted in faith.
Sometimes, the pressure to prove ourselves can be overwhelming. We might compare our lives to others, or dwell on past failures. But what if I told you that the ultimate validation doesn't come from external approval, but from a divine promise? The Bible reminds us that 'what you had in the past will seem small compared with the great prosperity you'll have in the future' (Job 8 GW). This isn't just about material wealth, but about spiritual richness, purpose, and the incredible growth God orchestrates in our lives.
I used to get so caught up in trying to make things happen on my own strength, fearing that if I didn't 'prove myself,' I'd be stuck. But then I learned to lean into the truth that God started a good work in me, and He will complete it. He doesn't leave anything half-done. This conviction became my anchor. When doubts crept in, or when I felt like others were questioning my path, I’d remind myself: this is why yours hasn't either. Meaning, if God isn't done with me, then He certainly isn't done with you. Our stories are still being written by the ultimate Author.
Think about it: Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be. (1 John 3:2). This verse is such a powerful encouragement! It acknowledges that our future, our full potential, is still unfolding. We might not see the full picture yet, but that doesn't mean it's not spectacular. It removes the pressure to have it all figured out right now. Instead, it invites us to trust the process and the one who holds our future.
So, how do we navigate this journey of 'proving your right' through faith? It starts with surrendering the need for immediate external validation. Instead, focus on building your relationship with Jesus. Keep your eyes fixed on Him. When you feel discouraged, dive into His Word. Those verses aren't just ancient texts; they are living promises meant to encourage and uplift you right now. They are the proof that God is faithful.
It’s about recognizing that your life isn't defined by your current struggles or setbacks, but by the incredible plan God has for you. He will prove you right not by making your critics admit they were wrong, but by fulfilling His promises in your life in such a way that your past struggles fade in comparison to the glory of your future. Keep your head high, keep believing, and know that your best is not just coming, it's being meticulously crafted by a loving God. Don't give up on the unfolding masterpiece that is your life.
