💌 You don’t have to figure ✨anything✨ out
When Peter let Jesus into his boat, it became Jesus' boat. When Peter went to fish, he caught more than he could handle. From that moment, Peter followed Him.
God didn’t ask Peter to go out on his own and bring in a catch he wasn’t prepared to receive. Instead, He asked Peter to “put out a little from the land” (Luke 5:3) so He could sit down and teach.
Think of the trust Peter showed. He was likely exhausted and ready to give up, but he still allowed Jesus onto his boat. Even though he was tired, he trusted.
Stop stressing over the details. You don’t have to figure everything out—how it’ll happen, when it’ll happen, or what you'll do if things don’t go as planned. Trust God. You’ll be amazed at how much you receive when you let down your nets.

Luke 5:1-11 ESV
(1) On one occasion, while the crowd was pressing in on him to hear the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret,
(2) and he saw two boats by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets.
(3) Getting into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, he asked him to put out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
(4) And when he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
(5) And Simon answered, “Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.”
