Hi Lemon8 fam! So glad you stopped by! I'm Isis, and I'm really excited to be here and connect with all of you. You might have seen my initial intro, but I wanted to share a little more about who I am and what makes me, well, me! I'm a 28-year-old Capricorn, and if you know Capricorns, you know we're all about being grounded, ambitious, but also having a great sense of humor once you get past our serious exterior. My birthday's on January 3rd, so I kick off the new year with a bang! One thing that truly brings me joy, and probably surprises some people, is my absolute fanaticism for Spongebob Squarepants! Seriously, who else grew up glued to Bikini Bottom? For me, it's not just a cartoon; it's a comfort show, a source of endless memes, and pure nostalgia. I can quote almost any episode, and I still laugh out loud at Squidward's perpetual grumpiness (relatable sometimes!), Patrick's endearing silliness, and Spongebob's unshakeable optimism. Whether it's the 'Imagination' episode or anything involving Plankton's schemes, Spongebob has been a constant source of cheer throughout my life, even now at 28. It's truly a timeless classic that reminds me not to take life too seriously. If you're also a Spongebob enthusiast, I'd love to hear your favorite character or episode – maybe we can even swap quotes! Beyond the sea-dwelling sponge, I'm also a huge fan of volleyball. There’s something so invigorating about the game – the teamwork, the quick reflexes, and the sheer thrill of a perfect spike or a solid block. I've been playing since high school, and it's one of my favorite ways to stay active and de-stress. It's a great way to meet new people too, just like I'm hoping to do here on Lemon8. I'm always up for discussing strategies or even finding new ways to improve my game. Being in my late twenties, I feel like I'm really figuring things out, and I'm eager to share my journey and learn from yours.
