No teammates, no problem. Mary solos like a savage. 😤 #ClutchQueen
Hey everyone! I've had some amazing solo runs lately, especially in the Fortnite Solo Victory Cup, and I wanted to share some personal tips on how I secure those sweet Victory Royales when I'm playing alone. It's all about mindset and strategy, and with a few tweaks, you can definitely improve your game. First off, landing smart is crucial. I often aim for less contested spots like a slightly out-of-the-way corner of PLEASANT PARK, or sometimes a smaller unnamed landmark that's rich in floor loot. My goal is to quickly get a decent loadout without having to immediately fight off five other players. Securing an AR, an SMG like the JULES DRUM GUN or TWINFIRE AUTO SHOTGUN, and a shotgun is ideal. Don't forget to prioritize getting a MED KIT or shields early on, as survival is key. Once I'm geared up, I focus on farming materials. You'd be surprised how many times having enough building materials has saved me in a tough spot. Always keep an eye on your 'Materials Gathered' and try to stay topped up. As the STORM EYE SHRINKING starts, I pay close attention to my rotations. I try to stay on the edge of the storm early on, using it as a protective barrier from my back. This allows me to focus on players in front of me and avoid getting pinched. Picking engagements wisely is also super important. You don't have teammates to trade damage or revive you, so every fight has to be calculated. If I spot a player who seems unaware, I might go for an ELIMINATION, especially if I can confirm the kill quickly and move on. Remember, points for 'Eliminations' count! Late game is where the real 'ClutchQueen' moments happen. When it gets down to the 'FINAL FIVE', I try to reposition to high ground or an area with good cover. I listen for footsteps, watch for build fights, and try to third-party engagements if possible. My JULES DRUM GUN or TWINFIRE AUTO SHOTGUN comes in handy for those quick close-range fights. Managing your health, shields, and ammo is critical. If you're low on energy or can't sprint, find a safe spot to heal immediately. Don't be afraid to build aggressively to gain an advantage, but also know when to play defensively and wait for your moment. Achieving a 'VICTORY ROYALE' solo is incredibly satisfying, and seeing that 'YOU'VE EARNED A VICTORY CROWN' on the 'MATCH RECAP' screen makes all the effort worth it. Keep practicing your aim, especially with SMGs (hello, 'SMG MASTER' challenge!), and don't get discouraged by losses. Every match is a learning opportunity to refine your solo strategy for the next Fortnite Solo Victory Cup!
