Tasha’s Homemade Banana Nut Bread 💛🍌

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 1/4 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium)

1/3 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Beat in the eggs one at a time.

Stir in the mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla until well combined.

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients just until no dry pockets remain. Fold in the chopped nuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
