My anime collection room
I completed an anime wall today, but it's still a bit messy now.#animefigure #dragonball #one piece #naruto #animedecor
Hey fellow collectors! I just wanted to share an update on my anime collection room. I recently completed building out my main anime wall, and while it's still a bit messy and definitely a work in progress, I'm super excited about it! Seeing all my figures from Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Naruto finally displayed is a dream come true. Building an anime wall isn't just about putting figures on a shelf; it's about curating your own personal gallery. When I started, I realized it needed a theme beyond just 'all my anime stuff.' That's where the idea of custom shelf themes really comes into play. You can organize by series, by color palette, by character type (heroes vs. villains), or even by specific arcs within a show. For example, I'm thinking of dedicating one section just to the Frieza Saga in Dragon Ball Z, with dynamic poses and related accessories. For One Piece, perhaps a Wano Arc theme would be incredible with all the new figures coming out. It makes the display so much more engaging and tells a story! I've been drawing a lot of inspiration from what I've seen in various online shelfie clubs and collector communities. It's amazing how much creativity is out there! Seeing how others arrange their figures, use LED lighting, or create custom backdrops has really motivated me. Engaging with these communities is like having a constant source of new ideas. Many groups even have a monthly featured spot where they showcase exceptional collections, which is something I aspire to one day! As a collector, I know the struggle is real – space, budget, and the endless desire for new figures! But it's also incredibly rewarding. One concept I've been fascinated by is the idea of a 'trade wall.' We all end up with duplicates sometimes, or figures we've outgrown, or maybe just want to swap for something new without spending more money. Imagine a dedicated section where collectors could list or display items they're open to trading. It could be a fantastic way to refresh our collections and help fellow enthusiasts find their grails. It fosters community and sustainability within the hobby. My wall is currently a bit messy, but I'm learning that organization is key. Clear risers can make a huge difference in layering your figures and preventing a cluttered look. Dust prevention is also a constant battle, so I'm researching display cases or methods to keep everything pristine. What are your favorite custom shelf themes? Do you participate in any 'shelfie clubs' or trade groups? I'd love to hear your best tips for creating an epic and organized anime display!
