i went out last night before going there was drama

felt like i shouldn’t go out but then i heard how a few people out of the group that was out wanted me to be there

this is where i f-cked up. yes i went out.

there was more drama and i lost my god dam mind

now it’s the next day i feel drained, and i feel like i never want to have any human interaction ever again

🫶🏻 maybe i should go to therapy…again…maybe it’ll help this time 🫠

Many individuals experience anxiety when deciding whether to join friends or stay home. The fear of missing out can be powerful, particularly when others express their desire for our company. However, when we finally engage, the experience doesn’t always align with our expectations. After a chaotic night surrounded by drama, it’s common to feel exhausted or mentally drained, questioning our choices. Such feelings may prompt thoughts about seeking professional help, like therapy, especially when the cycle of social interaction feels overwhelming. Therapy can serve as a safe space to explore these emotions, learn coping strategies, and gain insights into our social lives and personal boundaries. It's vital to recognize the signs of social fatigue and the importance of mental wellness. Taking a step back to assess how social situations affect our mood and energy is crucial. Here, we can find a balance that respects our well-being while still engaging with our social circles in a positive way. The journey towards understanding our emotional health is ongoing, and seeking help is a courageous step toward building resilience.
