Taking your beloved pet paddleboarding is an experience unlike any other, but a little preparation goes a long way to ensure it’s safe and enjoyable for both of you. Introduction to the Board: Don't just throw your pet onto the board and paddle off! Start slow. Place the board on a calm surface at home and let your pet explore it. Reward them with treats and praise for simply standing or sitting on it. Once they're comfortable on land, move to shallow, calm water. Let them walk onto the board on their own terms, always with positive reinforcement. Short sessions are key here; don't push them too hard initially.
