If you want a holiday experience your kids will talk about all season… ICE! at Gaylord Palms is the one you don’t skip. {hosted}
This year’s walk-through takes you straight into the world of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, carved entirely from thousands of pounds of colorful ice. Think glowing tunnels, huge character scenes, frosty sculptures, and those iconic ice slides that the kids will want to do over and over again.
It’s one of those holiday outings that feels big and magical, but still easy enough for families with littles. The whole attraction is indoors, stroller-friendly, and surprisingly smooth to navigate even with toddlers in tow.
📍 Gaylord Palms Resort
6000 W Osceola Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746
Before You Go:
➡️ It is extremely cold inside (around 9°), so dress in warm layers: gloves, hats, leggings under outfits, and thick socks are your best friend.r
➡️ Gaylord gives everyone a big blue parka, but your own layers make a huge difference for kids.
➡️ Strollers are allowed through most of the attraction, which is great for littles who get cold easily or don’t want to walk the whole time.
➡️ Tickets must be purchased online beforehand, and time slots do fill quickly, especially evenings and weekends.
Why your family will love it:
It’s a full sensory winter adventure, colorful lights, icy sculptures, storybook moments, and the excitement of exploring something completely different from anything else in Central Florida during the holidays.
Grab your tickets early, save this post for planning, and follow @FunWithTheJohnsons for more “Before You Go” guides on the best holiday events for families.
