How many try’s do you think it took him?!

This is why we repeat ourselves.

Part two from last week and listen… the confidence was LOUD…

He knew he had it. Absolutely certain. Meanwhile, I’m over here repeating the same moves like, “just stay with me.”

Maybe it was his angle.

Maybe it was the small details.

Maybe this is just a universal marriage experience where one person sees everything and the other is vibing on confidence alone.

But here’s what matters: he showed up, he played along, and he didn’t quit, even when he was clearly over it. And honestly? That’s marriage. Effort over perfection. Laughter over frustration. Choosing fun even when someone “cannot be bothered.”

These silly little games remind us that connection doesn’t always come from deep talks, it comes from shared laughs, patience, and being willing to try again… even if it takes a few repeats.

Be honest, did you catch it right away or nah? 👀👇

... Read moreFrom my own experience, marriage truly is about those repeated efforts that might seem small but mean everything in the long run. I recall times when my partner and I were stuck in a loop—trying to understand each other’s quirks or habits—and honestly, it took many tries to get on the same page. Like the article says, it’s not about getting it perfect the first time but showing up and playing along even when you’re a bit tired or frustrated. What really struck me is the idea that connection isn’t always born from deep conversations but often from shared laughter and patience. These little “games” or repeated moments are how we build a bond that goes beyond words. For example, my spouse’s confidence sometimes masks missing little details I notice, but instead of getting annoyed, I try to enjoy the confidence vibe and keep things lighthearted. Also, understanding that one person might see the whole picture while the other is just vibing with confidence alone is liberating—it reminds us marriage requires flexibility and an acceptance that we won’t always be perfectly synchronized. Those moments when you just want to quit but choose to laugh instead can transform everyday challenges into memories and growth. It’s about effort over perfection and choosing fun even when neither of you “can be bothered.” It’s a lesson in patience, humor, and love that keeps relationships alive and thriving.
