How many outfits do you pack?
Not gonna lie… this was one of my favorite parts of prepping for this trip.
Before we even got on, the Virgin Voyages App already had a full preview of what each day was giving, events, vibes, themes, all of it.
So when it came to packing? I wasn’t guessing. I was planning outfits around the experience.
I’m not even going to sit here and say I’m super stylish…I like to keep things pretty minimal and easy. As my body is changing (yay hormones), I’m still figuring out what works for me and what I feel good in.
For a 4 day / 3 night voyage, I packed:
• 3 swimsuits
• 5 evening looks
• 5 daytime outfits
• 2 workout sets
And honestly… I feel like I did pretty good.
Between daytime exploring, pool vibes, dinners, and late-night energy… the outfit changes add up quick.
Now I’m curious… how many outfits are y’all changing into in a day on a voyage?

From my own experience packing for a 4-day voyage, I realized that thoughtful outfit planning was key to enjoying the trip without lugging around too much luggage. The Virgin Voyages app previewed daily events and themes well in advance, so I matched my packing list to those vibes rather than packing blindly. I kept my style minimal and comfortable as my body was going through changes, which made it important to focus on pieces I felt good wearing. This approach helped avoid packing unnecessary items that wouldn’t get worn. I brought 3 swimsuits for pool days, 5 evening outfits for dinners and nighttime activities, 5 daytime outfits for exploring and casual moments, and 2 workout sets for gym sessions or active excursions. Switching outfits multiple times per day is common on voyages—between exploring, relaxing poolside, dining, and hitting late-night events, quick outfit changes add up. By having a dedicated look for each part of the day, I felt ready for anything without overpacking. If you’re planning a similar trip, I recommend checking event schedules ahead of time and planning versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched. Also, factor in comfort and confidence—choosing outfits that make you feel good can elevate the entire journey. Packing in this mindful way took the stress out of deciding what to wear and let me focus on making the most of my time on board. Lastly, don’t forget essentials like sunscreen, a light jacket for cooler evenings, and a compact bag for daytime adventures. With a bit of planning, you can keep your luggage light and still have plenty of outfit options to enjoy every moment of your voyage.
