Am I doing too much?!

Be honest… am I doing too much?

One thing I knew I wanted for Hubs 40th birthday weekend was for everyone to feel welcomed from the moment they arrived.

Instead of filling these bags with random favors, I focused on things people could actually use throughout the trip:

🖤 WaterWipes @waterwipes

🖤 KinderFarms @kinderfarms

🖤 BODYARMOR Flash I.V. @drinkbodyarmor

🖤 Flywell Travel Vitamins @drinkflywell

🖤 Venture Pal Hydration Packets @venturepal_usa

🖤 Mints, bandanas, sunglasses, shot bottles from @amazon

I bought most of everything in bulk on Amazon to make it easier for a larger group, and honestly… I’m over here debating whether I should add snacks too. 😂

Tell me… where’s the line between thoughtful and doing the absolute most? Because I may or may not have one more Amazon order left in me.

From my own experience, assembling welcome bags filled with practical items—rather than random favors—helps guests feel genuinely cared for and prepared throughout the journey. Including essentials such as hydration packets, travel vitamins, and wipes prepares everyone for the demands of travel and activities, while fun extras like bandanas and sunglasses add a festive vibe. Buying these in bulk on platforms like Amazon is not only cost-effective but also convenient when managing large groups. Snacks are also a great addition to consider, as they provide quick energy and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Balancing being thoughtful with not overwhelming guests is key. If you notice your preparation leaning toward "doing the most," focusing on useful, universally appreciated items can keep your approach grounded yet generous. Also, incorporating branded or well-reviewed products (e.g., WaterWipes, BODYARMOR Flash I.V., Flywell vitamins) can assure quality and trust among attendees. Ultimately, the goal is to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they arrive through the entire celebration. Sharing your preparations and ideas with others who enjoy group travel or event planning can inspire creativity and encourage community advice on what works best for different groups and occasions.
