Aritzia haul
Yet another Aritzia haul!! #Haul #aritziahaul #clotheshaul #shoppingaddict
It seems like everyone's buzzing about Aritzia, and for good reason! Their styles are undeniably chic, but a common question I always get is, 'Is the quality of Aritzia's fabrics and materials really worth the price tag?' As a fellow shopping enthusiast, I totally get it. We want our investments to last and feel amazing. So, after many hauls (including my recent one!), I wanted to share my honest, personal evaluation of Aritzia's texture, fabric, and overall material quality. Let's dive into some of Aritzia's most popular fabrics. Tna Butter™/Cozy Fleece: If you own anything from Tna, you know the 'Butter' fabric. It's incredibly soft, almost like a second skin. For loungewear, leggings, and casual tops, the texture is smooth and luxurious. For their sweats (like the Cozy Fleece), they are thick, plush, and hold up well to washing if cared for properly. I've found these materials maintain their softness for a long time, making them a great choice for comfort. Babaton Contour™: This fabric is specifically designed for a smooth, body-skimming fit. It's usually a blend of nylon and elastane, giving it a good stretch and recovery. The texture is sleek and feels supportive. I love it for bodysuits and dresses because it honestly just sculpts so beautifully. It's a structured knit that feels substantial, not flimsy. Wilfred Free & Linen Blends: For their more elevated casual pieces, Aritzia often uses rayon, Tencel, or linen blends. Their linen pieces, especially for summer, are fantastic. They have that natural, slightly textured feel that linen is known for, and they drape really nicely. I've found these blends to be breathable and comfortable, though linen does wrinkle easily, which is just part of its charm. Cashmere & Wool Blends: Aritzia's sweaters, particularly from brands like Wilfred, often feature cashmere or merino wool blends. The texture of these can vary. Some of their pure cashmere items are heavenly soft, while others can feel a bit more structured. I always check the material composition on the tag. For the price point, their wool blends often offer a good balance of warmth and softness, but occasionally, I've found some to be a tad scratchy, so it's always good to feel them in-store if possible. Vegan Leather (e.g., Melina Pants): Their vegan leather pieces are super popular. The material often feels surprisingly supple and soft, with a slight sheen that mimics real leather well. The texture is smooth and they usually have a good weight to them, making them feel high-quality for a synthetic option. They do require specific care, so always check the label! Overall, Aritzia's materials are generally of good quality for a fast-fashion-adjacent brand. They often prioritize comfortable, flattering fabrics. However, like any clothing, proper care is crucial to maintain their texture and longevity. I always recommend washing delicates on a cold cycle, air-drying whenever possible, and reading those care tags! For example, some of my Aritzia pieces, especially knitwear, have benefited greatly from gentle handwashing or dry cleaning. Ignoring care instructions can quickly degrade the fabric's feel and appearance. When evaluating an Aritzia piece, I always ask myself: How does this fabric feel against my skin? Does it look durable? Does the texture match the aesthetic I'm going for? While some items feel worth every penny, others might feel a little higher in price compared to the material. It's a personal journey of discovery, but mostly, I've been really happy with how my Aritzia pieces have held up, especially their Tna Butter and Contour fabrics. They're definitely standout materials in my wardrobe!
