① The water temperature follows the washing indication
If you wash at a high water temperature, the feathers will be damaged, so wash at an appropriate water temperature
② Dry immediately after dehydration
If left before drying out, it will cause odor and stains

④ Dry completely in the shade

私もダウンを自宅で洗うのは初めてで少し不安がありましたが、洗濯表示の水洗いOKマークをしっかり確認し、指示通りの水温で洗いました。羽毛は繊細なので、ゴシゴシ洗わず、やさしく沈めるのがポイントです。すすぎは2〜3回行い、押し絞りを忘れずに行うことで生地や羽毛へのダメージを防げます。 脱水は30秒から1分と短時間で済ませてから、すぐに陰干ししました。直射日光を避け、風通しの良い場所で完全に乾かすことが臭いやシミの発生を防ぐ秘訣です。柔軟剤は使わないことで、ダウン特有のふんわり感や保温効果を維持できます。 洗濯ネットの使用もおすすめで、絡まりや型崩れを防止できます。これらの手順で洗うと、クリーニングに出すよりも手軽で経済的なのに、清潔でふっくらした状態が長持ちしました。ダウンが傷まないためにも、洗濯前に必ず表示を確認し、少しでも不安なら無理せずクリーニングを利用することも大切です。
