Calling All Momma’s ! Please help !✨🥺🙏🏾
Happy Sundayyyy 🤗 I hope you all are having a relaxed Sunday. I just wanted to do a little rant on how hard it is to stay afloat as a single mom. I love my daughter to death, would do any and everything under the sun for my baby but boy do I be needing a break, im burnt out so easily. Since I’m a teacher and summer began, I try to make everyday fun or you know atleast have a little activity to do so my daughter won’t be sitting in the house, watching tv, or just getting into stuff but wow, everything cost money lol and I just didn’t think this through who did I think I was that I’d have a fun activity planned everyday for a 2 year old !? I just don’t know what to do and we’ve done a lot yall: finger painting, splash parks, chalk on the sidewalks, beach days, Chuck E. Cheese, Splash pad and water table in the front yard, going to parks. I read books, we do abc’s and 123’s,but let’s be real the attention span isn’t there at all for too long and I’m doing my best lol.
Do any other mommy’s have some fun suggestions that I could incorporate into some of these summer days ? At home activities? Or just advice and words of encouragement? Anything would be helpful .

Being a single mom can be both rewarding and challenging, especially during the summer months. It’s common for mothers to feel overwhelmed trying to keep their toddlers engaged without breaking the bank. Many parents are looking for innovative indoor and outdoor activities that promote learning and play. Finger painting, splash parks, and nature walks are great, but adding variety can refresh daily routines. Consider activities like DIY obstacle courses using household items, scavenger hunts in the backyard, or themed storytime sessions that encourage creativity and bonding. Additionally, utilizing local community resources such as free library events, playgroups, and parks can provide low-cost entertainment options. Encouragement from other moms can lift spirits and offer new perspectives on parenting challenges. Remember, you’re not alone—sharing ideas and experiences can transform the summer into a more enjoyable and manageable season for both you and your little one.
