Setting a budget was crucial, as I wanted to achieve a high-impact look without breaking the bank. I focused on DIY-friendly projects that would make the biggest difference. First up was a deep clean and a bit of demolition. Removing old, stained fabrics and peeling wallpaper really helped me visualize the 'after' potential.
