I love just people-watching, admiring the incredible architecture of hotels like The Venetian, or just soaking in the vibrant energy. You can spend hours just taking in the sights, from the grand facades to the smaller artistic details. And honestly, seeing the iconic Paris Las Vegas hotel with its Eiffel Tower replica lit up at night from the street is absolutely breathtaking – a free mini-trip to Paris right in Nevada! Speaking of iconic, no trip to Vegas is complete without witnessing the Bellagio Fountains show. I make sure to catch it every time I'm there. The way the water dances to the music is just mesmerizing, and the best part? It's completely free! I loved just sitting there for a bit, enjoying the tranquility. Then there's the Fremont Street Experience downtown. While they have paid attractions, the main canopy light show and the street performers are totally free to enjoy. It's a completely different vibe from the Strip – a bit more old-school Vegas, with live music and a really festive atmosphere. I always find myself drawn to the energy there; it's a fantastic place to spend an evening without spending a fortune. And for that classic Vegas photo op? You can't miss the iconic "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign. It’s a quick stop, but it’s a must-do for a souvenir photo that literally says "Vegas." Just be prepared for a bit of a line, especially at peak times! Finally, a bit off the Strip but totally worth the short drive is the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Garden. Not only do you get to see how chocolate is made (and usually snag a free sample!), but their cactus garden is absolutely massive and stunning. During the holidays, they light it up with millions of lights, which is another incredible free spectacle. It's a unique blend of sweet treats and natural beauty.
