... Read moreOh my goodness, if you're planning a trip to Waco, Texas, you absolutely HAVE to visit Magnolia Market at the Silos! I just got back from my first visit, and it was everything I dreamed of and more. For anyone wondering, the official address is 601 Webster Ave, Waco, TX 76706. It’s super easy to find, and once you get there, the magic really begins. The first thing that struck me was the sheer scale of the place. Those iconic weathered silos really stand tall against the blue sky, creating such a picturesque backdrop. The whole complex is beautifully laid out, as you can see from the detailed map that’s available. We started by exploring the main Magnolia Market shop, which is housed in a lovely white shed, actually part of the original property. Inside, it’s a treasure trove of charming home decor, gifts, and souvenirs. I spent ages browsing, and the quality of everything was just fantastic. Next up was Magnolia Home, which is a separate building. If you’re into interior design, prepare to be inspired! They had stunning displays, from cozy bedding, including beautiful *dark green pillows and striped sheets*, to unique furniture pieces. It really gives you a sense of Joanna Gaines's style. I could have bought everything! Beyond the shops, the outdoor space is just as inviting. There’s a wonderful green lawn where families were picnicking and kids were playing, right in front of the silos stage. We grabbed some delicious food from one of the many food trucks lined up – there’s such a great variety, from savory to sweet. Finding a spot at one of the white picnic tables under the trees was perfect for enjoying our meal and taking in the buzzing atmosphere. I even got a classic brown paper bag with the Magnolia logo, which made for a great photo prop! A little tip for visiting: check their operating hours online before you go, as they can sometimes vary. We went on a weekday morning, and it was busy but not overwhelmingly so. Weekends can be packed, so if you prefer a quieter experience, aim for off-peak times. Parking is available, but it fills up quickly, so arriving early is a good idea. Wear comfortable shoes because you'll want to explore every corner! Don't forget your camera – every spot, from the climbing vines on the buildings to the intricate details inside, is Instagram-worthy. It's truly a destination that offers something for everyone, whether you're a devoted fan or just looking for a unique Texas experience. I can't wait to go back!
