SJM - Current Read and Thoughts

I finished ACOTAR and currently reading TOG. Here are my thoughts so far.

• if you struggled with the first ACOTAR book, keep reading.

• if you want to start TOG, I read Assassin’s Blade after the third book.

• do not look at TikTok, because it will spoil everything

• I’m worried I should have read Crescent City after ACOTAR

• if you’re a hidden clue girly, I’ve highlighted so many things that I think the author snuck in there to make the series connect

• type specific book fanart after you read that specific book

• my brain keeps connecting books to Disney storylines

• I haven’t read like this in a long time, and I love it

I am loving the books, and I can’t wait to share my thoughts after I finish TOG

Many readers recommend starting 'Throne of Glass' with 'Assassin's Blade,' offering valuable backstory before diving into the main plot. Avoid spoilers on platforms like TikTok, as discussions there can ruin your reading experience. Moreover, reading 'Crescent City' can be a great follow-up post-ACOTAR, and for fans of hidden clues, there are numerous subtle connections throughout Sarah J. Maas's works. It may also enhance your enjoyment to explore fan art related to the specific books after you finish them—this can add a new layer of appreciation to the storylines, including their enchanting connections to Disney narratives. Fans of Maas often find themselves reflecting on these imaginative ties. Having immersed in these compelling narratives, many readers express rejuvenation in their love for reading.
