My morning routine as a business coordinator📎
My workday typically starts at 7:30, and I am someone who needs STRUCTURE during their day lol.
When I come in, I am immediately opening up my planner!
I have a regular weekly planner as well as a notebook. I use the notebook essentially as a daily planner/to do list for every day.
So, first I go into my planner and see if I have any meetings that day. Then, I write my regular daily tasks such as banking, printing yesterday’s paperwork out, checking emails and voicemails, and approving orders into my notebook and create a checklist.
Then, when I actually start doing those tasks, I use a different pen color to check them off so it’s super easy to find which tasks I have already completed.
Once my main morning tasks are complete, I’m moving on to the bigger tasks such as creating any marketing for events coming up, going over any PowerPoints or presentations I would need to bring to my meetings, and any other things that need to get done around the office.
My job is pretty much running the office at a wellness center, so there are a lot of tasks that come up throughout the day, hence needing the running to-do list! It’s giving me a lot of experience that I think can follow me into other areas of life and other future positions that I may take on. If anyone has any questions about what this kind of job is like, don’t hesitate to ask! 😚

In today's fast-paced work environment, establishing a solid morning routine is critical for success, especially for business coordinators. My day begins promptly at 7:30 AM, aimed at creating a structured environment to facilitate productivity. Utilizing multiple tools like a weekly planner and a daily notebook allows me to stay organized and handle an array of tasks efficiently. Once I arrive at the office, I immediately check my planner for meetings and use my notebook to outline daily tasks such as banking, checking emails, and managing orders. A well-maintained to-do list is indispensable, particularly in settings like wellness centers where the task variety can be extensive. The visual aspect of ticking off completed tasks, especially in different pen colors, not only aids in organization but also provides a satisfying sense of accomplishment. Furthermore, I prioritize larger projects, whether it involves marketing initiatives for upcoming events or preparing presentations for meetings. This balance ensures that I manage both regular activities and significant responsibilities without feeling overwhelmed. Sharing strategies on office setup and work routines can greatly benefit others looking to enhance their productivity in similar roles.
