My personal experience is that getting frozen by a Cryo Slime while trying to escape can feel like a death sentence when you can't swap out! Always be mindful of enemy attacks that immobilize your characters. What about when a character is truly 'down' or knocked out? If a character's HP drops to zero, they're incapacitated, and you absolutely cannot switch to them. You'll need to use a revival item (like a Teyvat Fried Egg or a Steak) from your inventory on a different active character to bring them back.
