Angel dust (old) makeup!

After sharing my Angel Dust makeup look, I got so many questions about how I achieved it! It's definitely one of the most iconic and fun looks from Hazbin Hotel, and getting those unique eyes and pale skin just right takes a bit of practice. If you're planning an Angel Dust cosplay or just want to try out some inspired makeup, here's a deeper dive into my process and some tips I've picked up along the way. First things first, the skin base. Angel Dust is super pale, almost white. For this, I recommend a good quality, full-coverage white face paint or a very light theatrical foundation. Make sure to set it with a translucent powder to prevent creasing and smudging throughout the day, especially if you're wearing this to a con! I usually start by moisturizing, then apply a primer, then the white base evenly across my face and neck, blending down onto any exposed skin like my chest if I'm wearing a lower-cut top. Now, for the showstopper: Angel Dust's eyes. This is where the magic happens! He has four eyes, but for a human cosplay, we usually create the illusion. I focus on making my natural eyes look larger and adding two 'false' eyes on my cheeks. For my actual eyes, I start with a bright pink or purple eyeshadow all over the lid and blended into the crease. Then, I use a darker shade in the outer corner to create depth. A sharp black liquid eyeliner is crucial for that dramatic winged liner. Don't forget the lower lash line – I typically smudge some pink or purple there too. And for those signature spidery lashes? A super volumizing mascara on both top and bottom lashes, and then I use individual false lashes or even cut up strip lashes to create that separated, spiky look. Sometimes I even draw on extra little lash lines with liquid liner for more impact! For the 'extra' eyes, I usually draw two ovals on my cheekbones using a white or light pink eyeliner pencil as a guide. Then, I fill them in with white face paint, carefully creating a black pupil and iris in the center. Adding a tiny white dot for highlight makes them look more realistic and shiny! You can use eyeshadow to create a subtle shadow around them to make them pop even more. Eyebrows are next. Angel Dust has very thin, defined brows. I usually cover my natural brows with glue stick and powder, then draw on thin, arched black brows with a liquid liner or a fine-tipped brow pencil. For a touch of color, I add a pop of pink blush on the apples of my cheeks, blending it gently. It adds a bit of life to the otherwise pale face. Finally, the lips. Angel Dust's lips are often dark, sometimes black. I've used black lipstick for a bold look, or sometimes a deep plum or berry shade for a slightly softer, yet still dramatic, effect. If you want to add his little fangs, you can either buy costume fangs or carefully draw them onto your lips with white eyeliner and then outline them with black. My biggest tip? Practice, practice, practice! This look isn't something you master on the first try. Play around with different products and techniques.
