3 Reasons to be a Gym Girlie
Hi world! I just started my fitness journey. And I would love for you to learn and grow with me as I share my experiences! Here are three reasons why you should become a gym girlie!
🔴 I recently notice that I had ZERO cramping before my cycle started, which happens every month 14 days before my cycle comes. I also noticed that when it came it was so much lighter!
💩 Before, I would go every 2-3 days. Not good for your body at all. Now I go every morning and every night, as you should. One poop after every meal is best, but especially when you awake to remove toxins from overnight and before you sleep to remove toxins from during the day. Regular BMs also equals less bloating! Don’t forget to drink plenty of water as well!
😴 I used to have a hard time sleeping. Usually, I would stay up until between 3am and 5am, despite having to get up at 8am everyday. Once I started going to the gym consistently, my body released endorphins to help me get a comfortable and relaxing sleep at a “normal” bedtime.

Hey everyone! Following up on the amazing points about period relief, digestive health, and incredible sleep, I wanted to dive even deeper into why going to the gym is truly important for our overall well-being. It's not just about looking good; it's about feeling absolutely amazing inside and out. For me, beyond the benefits I've already shared, one of the biggest game-changers has been my mental clarity and mood. Before the gym, I often felt sluggish and sometimes overwhelmed. Now, those intense workouts act like a reset button for my mind. The endorphins aren't just for sleep – they're natural mood boosters! I've noticed a significant reduction in my stress levels, and I feel much more resilient when facing daily challenges. It’s like a natural way to lower cortisol, that pesky stress hormone that can wreak havoc on our bodies. Instead of feeling trapped by worries, I feel empowered and much more positive. Another aspect that really highlights the importance of regular exercise is the sustained energy boost throughout the day. It might sound counterintuitive – you're expending energy to get more energy – but it's totally true! I used to hit that afternoon slump hard, reaching for coffee or sugary snacks. Now, thanks to my morning gym sessions, I feel consistently energized and focused from sunrise to sunset. This isn't just about physical stamina; it's about mental vitality too, helping me tackle tasks with renewed vigor. Let's not forget the long-term health benefits that make the gym so crucial. While the immediate perks are fantastic, think about what you're doing for your heart, bones, and overall longevity. Regular cardiovascular exercise strengthens your heart, improving circulation and reducing the risk of heart disease. Weight-bearing exercises help build and maintain bone density, which is incredibly important as we age, preventing conditions like osteoporosis. It’s truly an investment in a healthier, more active future. And honestly, the gym can also be a fantastic place for community and motivation. While I often focus on my own workout, there's an unspoken camaraderie among gym-goers. Seeing others push themselves, getting a nod of encouragement, or even just being in an environment focused on self-improvement can be incredibly motivating. It creates a positive feedback loop that makes it easier to stay consistent. If you're still on the fence about starting your own fitness journey, my biggest advice is just to start small. You don't need to be an expert or spend hours there initially. Find a workout you genuinely enjoy, whether it’s lifting weights, a dance class, or even just a brisk walk on the treadmill. Consistency truly is key. Drink plenty of water (as mentioned before!), listen to your body, and celebrate every small victory. Trust me, embracing the gym lifestyle is one of the best decisions you can make for your physical and mental health. You'll thank yourself for it!
