Are you worthy enough to be respected?
Humans are not price tags.
We live in a world that likes to ask
What's your job?
How much salary?
Stay in a condo or rent an apartment.
What are you driving?
How much is the watch?
Like these questions are how to measure
"Are you worth being respected?"
But the truth is,
Humans were never made to be price tags.
Some people may wear expensive shirts.
But the heart is empty.
Some people may not have enough money.
But also with tenderness, honesty and dignity, full heart.
Society confused between
Price and value
The price says how much the world would pay you.
But the value says
What kind of human are you?
Money can buy a house
Buy time.
Can buy comfort
But never bought.
Sincerity.
Mercy.
Or the dignity of being a person.
People with more.
Not entitled to step on anyone else.
And people with fewer.
Didn't deserve to be looked low
We may not be equal in bank accounts.
But we are equal in the right to
Respect.
Get sympathy.
And treated as "human."
Maybe the world will be much more livable.
If we stop asking
"What's he got?"
And start asking
"What kind of man is he?"
Because finally,
What makes one valuable
It's not what he possesses.
But is who he is.
