What was going to be a Sapphic Christmas Rom-Com novella has turned into a novel! 😱 It is clear I just don't know when to shut up. But I honestly love writing about these two wonderful women falling in love.
It is about a woman who found a passion for flying acrobatic airplanes and unexpectedly inherits half her teacher's airfield, airplanes, and business. The other half is inherited by his granddaughter, who has spent the last ten years flying as a bush pilot in the Alaskan backcountry.
As they start spending their days together, they start to feel there might be more between them than just business partners. With some Christmas romance and a bit of magic, it might be the year their wishes come true.❤❤❤

My workspace is often buzzing with ideas, especially when I'm thinking about the unique blend of themes in this story. Imagine combining the cozy, magical feel of a Christmas theme with the exhilarating world of airplanes! It’s been an adventure bringing that to life. I knew I wanted to write a sapphic novel that truly celebrated queer love during the most wonderful time of the year. The idea of two women, one unexpectedly inheriting half an airfield and the other a seasoned bush pilot from the Alaskan backcountry, just clicked. Their initial dynamic of being business partners, navigating a new shared venture, provides such fertile ground for romantic tension. I love exploring how these two strong, independent women, with such different life experiences, slowly start to realize there’s something more between them. It’s not just about the business; it’s about finding connection, understanding, and ultimately, love. The Christmas setting isn't just a backdrop; it weaves into their story, bringing with it a sense of hope, possibility, and a touch of that holiday magic we all secretly wish for.
