I adopted my cat from a shelter and then my mother in law's dog had puppies and we got our puppy from her. I told my husband once we get a house (we live in an apartment that only allows us to have two animals) we're going to a shelter and getting the dog that has been there the longest. Every animal deserves a nice loving home.
