Easy toddler snack

Some of my go-to snacks include fresh fruit slices like apple and banana, soft veggie sticks such as steamed carrots or cucumber, and whole-grain crackers paired with mild cheese. These snacks are not only easy to prepare but also provide the energy and nutrients toddlers need for their active days. Another tip is to incorporate snacks that toddlers can easily handle to encourage self-feeding and independence. Finger foods like small pieces of avocado, lightly roasted chickpeas, or mini sandwiches using whole wheat bread work well. These snacks also help improve their fine motor skills as they learn to pick up and eat food on their own. I always keep in mind allergies and avoid any choking hazards, focusing on soft, bite-sized portions. Including a mix of sweet and savory flavors keeps snack time exciting for my toddler. Finally, involving toddlers in the snack preparation can be a fun activity that helps them learn about healthy eating. For example, letting them pick out their favorite fruits or assemble simple sandwiches can make snack time more enjoyable and encourage better eating habits.
