#佛心禅语
Living a life guided by Buddhist Zen teachings has personally helped me navigate the ups and downs of existence with greater ease and clarity. The essence of phrases like "善待自己" (be kind to yourself) and "人这一辈子就是一个过程" (life is a process) reminds me daily to treat myself with compassion rather than harsh judgment. This shift in mindset can transform stress into acceptance. One teaching that resonated deeply is "没有永恒的生命" (there is no eternal life), which encourages embracing impermanence. When we realize that everything passes, from our struggles to joys, we can release attachments and lessen our suffering. Instead of clinging to outcomes, the idea of "尽人事听天命" (do your best and leave the rest to fate) invites a balance between effort and acceptance. I also find comfort in contemplating that we are all "过客" (passengers) in this world. This perspective lessens the pressure to control every moment and opens space for peaceful encounters and letting go. Living slowly and allowing meaningful connections to unfold naturally, as suggested by "慢慢相遇" (slowly meet), enriches relationships and self-understanding. Overall, integrating these Zen sayings into daily life encourages mindful awareness and gentleness towards oneself and others. It promotes inner peace by accepting life’s ebb and flow, releasing unnecessary attachments, and embracing each moment as part of the beautiful journey. Sharing these reflections, I hope others can also find solace and serenity in Buddhist wisdom.
