Dynamax Metagross Gengar & Falinks!

Hey everyone! I've been absolutely obsessed with exploring the Dynamax phenomenon in Pokémon, and I wanted to share some of my personal strategies and findings, especially concerning the powerhouses Metagross, Gengar, and Falinks. It's truly game-changing when a strong wild Pokemon appeared and you know exactly how to counter or utilize your Dynamax forms! Let's kick things off with Gengar's Dynamax Best Moveset. From my experience, a Timid nature Gengar with a focus on Special Attack and Speed is a beast. For Dynamax battles, I've found that Shadow Ball (for Max Phantasm, lowering defense), Sludge Bomb (for Max Ooze, boosting Special Attack), and Dazzling Gleam (for Max Starfall, setting Misty Terrain) create an incredible offensive presence. Adding Protect is always a smart move to scout out your opponent's intentions. When I'm in a tough raid, especially against a powerful Raid Egg Pokémon, this Gengar setup often turns the tide. The stat boosts from Max Ooze are just phenomenal, making Gengar hit even harder! Next up, let's talk about Falinks Dynamax Guide and Weakness. Falinks might seem straightforward, but mastering its Dynamax form can be tricky. Its unique ability, Battle Armor, prevents critical hits, which is great, but its main weakness lies in its relatively low Special Defense. When using Falinks, I always aim for a Jolly nature with maximum Attack and Speed EVs. Close Combat (for Max Knuckle, boosting Attack), Iron Head (for Max Steelspike, boosting Defense), and Megahorn (for Max Flutterby, lowering Special Attack) form a strong offensive core. Dynamaxing Falinks is all about snowballing with those stat boosts. However, be wary of special attackers, especially psychic or flying types, as they can exploit its falinks dynamax weakness. I’ve learned the hard way in some POKEMOD simulated battles! For Dynamax Metagross, while the original post might not have gone deep, I've had some fantastic runs. Metagross is a defensive tank that can also dish out massive damage. An Adamant nature with EV investment in Attack and HP makes it incredibly formidable. Meteor Mash (for Max Steelspike), Zen Headbutt (for Max Mindstorm), and Earthquake (for Max Quake) provide excellent coverage and useful stat boosts/terrain changes. Metagross truly shines when it can take a hit and then retaliate with boosted attacks. It’s a reliable anchor for many Dynamax teams, especially in intense Gym battles. Finally, a quick note on Kingler EV yield. If you're building a competitive Kingler, you'll typically want to maximize its Attack and Speed EVs. A Jolly or Adamant nature works best. For example, 252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP is a common spread to make it a fast, hard-hitting physical attacker. Kingler can be surprisingly potent with moves like Crabhammer and Superpower, especially if you can get a Swords Dance boost before Dynamaxing. It's not always in the spotlight, but a well-trained Kingler can definitely surprise opponents! I hope these personal insights help you navigate your Dynamax adventures and build even stronger teams.
