I won't be using the terms Gen Z,Gen Alpha etc.

From now on, I'm ditching terms like Gen Z, Millennial, and Gen Alpha. Instead, I'll be using Pluto placements to describe age groups!

Why? Because let's face it, these terms have become too loose and misleading. People are using Gen Z to describe younger Millennials, and Gen Alpha for younger Gen Z... and it bugs the heck outta me! 😆 Originally, generations were meant to last long enough for the people in the youngest generation to start becoming parents. But for Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z, there's only about 15 years in each!!

Pluto placements offer a clearer way to define generations. With more precise cutoff dates, and we already have the language to accurately identify those born on cusps. Plus, the shorter generational duration makes it a more descriptive and meaningful way to understand age groups.

So, say hello to Gen Scorpio, Gen Sagittarius, and Gen Capricorn... !

Here's a quick guide:

- Pluto in Leo 🦁 (1939-1958) - Silent Generation & Elder Boomers

- Pluto in Virgo 🌾 (1958-1972) - Young Baby Boomers and Elder Generation X

- Pluto in Libra ⚖️ (1972-1983) - Generation X (sometimes elder Millennials)

- Pluto in Scorpio 🦂 (1983-1995) - Millennials (early)

- Pluto in Sagittarius 🏹 (1995-2008) - Millennials (late)

- Pluto in Capricorn 🐐 (2008-2023) - Generation Z (early)

- Pluto in Aquarius 🏺 (2023-present) - Generation Z (late) and Generation Alpha (early)

Keep in mind that using Pluto placements provides a more precise way to define generations, as you mentioned earlier!

The increase in digital content consumption has made it essential to redefine these labels in a way that resonates with current societal changes. Pluto placements, rooted in astrology, present a unique vantage point. Each generation defined by Pluto's location encapsulates distinct characteristics and experiences, offering a deeper understanding of cultural trends. For instance, those born with Pluto in Scorpio (1983-1995) are often seen as transformative, while those under Pluto in Capricorn (2008-2023) are recognized for their ambition and pragmatism. This new framework helps clarify generational experiences, addressing the confusion surrounding overlap between groups. Furthermore, as discussions about identity and belonging become more nuanced, aligning age classifications with astrological insights might foster more inclusive conversations. With Pluto's intricate cycles, we can also look forward to emerging generations, like those born under Pluto in Aquarius (2023-present), who are poised to bring innovative perspectives to the societal landscape. By focusing on a cosmic shift in our understanding, we can enrich dialogues about identity and connection across generations.
