Okay, so you know how when you're really into a movie, you just have to find all the cool merch? That's totally me with Beetlejuice, especially with the new movie buzz! I've been on the hunt for a while now, specifically hoping to snag a Lydia Deetz plush. She's just such an iconic character, and honestly, who doesn't want a little goth queen to brighten (or darken!) their day? My recent trip to Walmart was a total win! I swear, sometimes you just wander in for groceries and walk out with the best spooky season finds. I spotted these adorable Beetlejuice plushies near the seasonal section, and my heart just leapt. While I was specifically looking for a Lydia Deetz plush, they had a whole range of characters. Some were those 'COMFORTABLY SO CUTE!' larger plushies, perfect for cuddling while rewatching the original film. And then, I also found these 'LIL MYSTERY KEYCHAINS' which are just too fun! You never know which character you'll get, but imagine pulling a tiny Lydia Deetz or even a 'Bob THE SAND SNAKES!' (or sandworm, as I affectionately call him!). It's like a mini thrill every time you open one. For anyone else on the hunt for their own Lydia Deetz plush, don't give up! I've noticed that Walmart often gets these themed collections around movie releases or holidays like Halloween. It's always worth checking the toy aisle, the seasonal decor, and sometimes even the checkout lanes for those smaller impulse buys like keychains. Online retailers are another great option, but there's something so satisfying about finding it in person. Lydia Deetz's unique style and her connection to the 'strange and unusual' really resonate with so many fans, which is probably why her merchandise, especially plushies, is always so sought after.
