very basic style inspo?
This is probably the worst style inspo post lmao.
Well here is what I wore yesterday to work, I work at a bank. Our dress code is business casual, but luckily our location is pretty laid back. We can get away with wearing leggings as long as our too is long.
I got this AE top off on depop and am just wearing some basic Aerie leggings with my everyday Vans. Which are currently on sale if anyones interested 😏 #basics #Lemon8 #clothes #StyleInspo #lemon8challenge
When it comes to dressing for a laid-back workplace, comfort and simplicity often become top priorities. From my personal experience working in environments with business casual dress codes, blending casual wear like leggings with more polished tops can create just the right balance. I’ve found that choosing longer tops is key when pairing with leggings in professional settings, as it keeps the look modest and appropriate. Scouring platforms like Depop can lead to stylish, budget-friendly finds such as my AE top, which gives my outfit a unique touch without breaking the bank. Another staple that never fails me is my pair of Vans shoes, which combine comfort with casual style perfectly. Interestingly, I also keep an eye out for sales on shoes like my current Vans, which offer great value and versatility across multiple outfits. For those who want to embrace this style, focusing on coordinating simple pieces helps maintain a cohesive look. Opting for neutral shades and solid colors for leggings and shoes allows the top to be the standout feature. Additionally, wearing shoes that are both practical and trendy, like Vans Sport Low shoes, helps with all-day comfort, especially when you’re on your feet frequently at work. Overall, a laid-back office outfit doesn’t have to be complicated. By mixing and matching accessible basics and considering both style and comfort, you can easily dress well every day. It’s these small style choices that make dressing for the workweek manageable and enjoyable, and they’ll also help you feel confident throughout your workday.
