Starbucks scary drinks

... Read moreOkay, so you’ve seen the hype, and like me, you’re probably wondering how to get your hands on those incredible Starbucks Halloween drinks for 2024! I was scrolling through #halloween2024 and saw so many people talking about 'Killer Drinks This Szn!' – it got me super curious. It turns out, many of these spooky sips aren't officially on the menu, but are brilliant custom creations inspired by our favorite horror icons. And trust me, they give you serious goosebumps! My absolute favorite, and one that's been getting a lot of buzz, is the Ghostface drink. I tried it last week, and it's a total scream! To order something similar, you usually start with a White Mocha Frappuccino, ask for some strawberry puree to be swirled in for that blood-splatter effect, and sometimes a drizzle of mocha or chocolate syrup. It's surprisingly delicious and perfectly creepy. You can also ask for extra whipped cream to make it look like a spectral apparition! But Ghostface isn't the only 'killer' on the menu this year. I’ve been researching and experimenting with my barista, and here are a few other spine-chilling creations I’ve found that are inspired by the incredible themed beverages I saw advertised: The Pennywise: This one is a total classic for Halloween. Think red and white! A common recipe involves a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with strawberry puree swirled in. It makes for a hauntingly sweet treat that looks just like a killer clown! Edward Scissorhands: This one often leans into dark and mysterious flavors. I've seen versions that use a Mocha Frappuccino base, with maybe a pump of raspberry or blackberry syrup for that dark, brooding vibe. It’s a bit gothic, but in the best way possible. Frankenstein: For this monster, people often go for green tea or matcha bases. A Matcha Frappuccino with some chocolate chips or cookie crumbles for texture can give you that classic monster look. It’s surprisingly refreshing for a creature of the night! Slenderman: This one is all about the tall, dark, and mysterious. A simple Iced Coffee or Cold Brew with a few pumps of dark caramel or mocha syrup can give it that shadowy, eerie feel. It’s strong and to the point, just like Slenderman himself. Saw: For a 'Saw' themed drink, it’s all about the red! You could start with a Strawberry Açai Refresher and add some passion tea for a deeper red. Or, if you prefer coffee, a White Mocha with extra strawberry drizzle for that bloody effect works wonders. It’s intense and definitely makes a statement! Pro Tip for Ordering: Since these are custom creations, don't just walk up and ask for a 'Pennywise Frappuccino.' Your barista might not know it! Instead, know the ingredients and politely ask for them. For example, 'Could I get a Venti Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with strawberry puree swirled in?' It makes their job easier and ensures you get your perfect spooky sip. These Halloween drinks are such a fun way to get into the spirit of the season. I love seeing what creative concoctions people come up with. Have you tried any of these, or do you have your own 'killer' Starbucks recipe for Halloween 2024? Share your favorites in the comments – I’m always looking for new spooky sips to try!
