And let's not forget the body mist and fine fragrance mists. These were once a staple for a quick scent refresh, offering a lighter alternative to perfume. But much like the body washes, the staying power seems to have faded. A scent that used to linger for hours now disappears within minutes, leaving you spraying more frequently and going through bottles much faster. This not only becomes more expensive but also feels less satisfying than the long-lasting experience we once cherished. The hand sanitizer is another product that has seen a noticeable change. While convenient, the overwhelming alcohol smell has often been replaced by an equally overwhelming artificial fragrance. It feels less like a sanitizing product and more like a perfume spray with a hint of alcohol, which can be irritating for sensitive noses and hands. Finding effective, yet pleasant, hand sanitizers has become a mini-quest for many of us. Despite these disappointments, it's worth noting that not everything has declined. Like many, I still find myself drawn to their candles. The throw and variety of scents remain impressive, making them a go-to for setting a mood or adding warmth to a room. Similarly, their hand soaps continue to be a household staple for their effective cleansing and delightful fragrances, often without the same irritation issues found in other products. So, if you're feeling the same way about Bath & Body Works, know you're not alone.
