Small Steps Still Matter 🤍

Sometimes we wait for the perfect moment…

the perfect energy…

the perfect version of ourselves.

But God isn’t asking for perfect —

He’s asking for faithful.

Faithful in the small prayers.

Faithful in the quiet effort.

Faithful in the days that don’t feel big at all.

If today feels ordinary, don’t overlook it.

Small obedience is where big transformation begins.

Comment “START” if you’re choosing to take one small step today 🤍

... Read moreIn my personal journey of faith, I've found that embracing small steps can truly be life-changing. Often, we feel the need to wait for the perfect moment or the right feeling before taking action, but this article beautifully reminds us that God isn’t asking for perfection—just faithfulness. I started by simply committing to a 5-minute daily prayer, even on days when I felt tired or distracted. It was surprising how much those small, consistent moments of connection helped me feel grounded and more hopeful throughout the day. Zechariah 4:10 encourages us not to despise small beginnings, and I learned firsthand that those tiny efforts build momentum over time. What resonated most for me was the idea that transformation begins quietly and gradually. Small acts like forgiving a little, trying again after failure, or even setting a small goal can shift your perspective and open you up to greater spiritual growth. It reminded me that obedience doesn't have to be dramatic or large-scale to be meaningful. Practically, I began to reflect on where I had been waiting to feel “ready” before stepping forward. By asking myself what obedience would look like today, I discovered areas in my life where tiny changes made a big difference. For example, sending a quick encouraging text or taking a moment to drink water with gratitude helped me stay mindful of God's presence in everyday tasks. If you’re hesitant to start, I encourage you to pick one small faithful step today—whether it’s a prayer, a kind word, or simply acknowledging God’s work in your life. These small acts create a foundation for big transformation that you might not see immediately, but will surely unfold in time. Remember, it’s not about the size of the step, but the faith behind it that matters most.

Yessss! Most times we wait, pause looking for the perfect time, place, set up, all the haves and God patiently waits for us to Heyy Lord! I tell myself girl while you were waiting for the house to get quiet, and plant yourself somewhere🤦🏽 you could have had a whole moment with Jesus, knowing he just wants me (us) 😆
