Autumn Paintings

Lately I’ve been chasing color and texture — just letting the materials guide me instead of overthinking it. The first piece is acrylic, all about those bold, fiery poppies that almost glow in the sunlight. The other two are oil pastels, inspired by quiet fall walks and little streams that feel almost magical when the light hits just right.

It’s been fun switching between mediums — acrylics push me to move fast, while oil pastels slow me down and let me blend and layer. Both remind me why I love painting in the first place.
