Since we're all here to talk fragrances, let's dive a little deeper into some of the incredible bottles I've been collecting and what makes them so special. First up, let's chat about Game of Spades Moon. This one is truly captivating! When I reach for it, I'm immediately enveloped by a beautiful blend of gardenia and jasmine, which then gracefully transitions into warmer notes of sandalwood, coffee, and a hint of caramel. It’s often said to be inspired by a Bond #9 fragrance, and I can definitely see why – it has that luxurious, sophisticated vibe that makes it perfect for an evening out or when you want to feel extra glamorous. Then there's the opulent Game of Spades Gold. Oh, this one is a powerhouse! It kicks off with a bright burst of orange, quickly followed by the rich warmth of brandy and ginger. As it settles, I get gorgeous cedar, amber, and a deep patchouli. This fragrance also draws inspiration from a well-known Bond #9 scent, and it truly lives up to its name with its regal, confident aura. It's definitely a statement maker! For something a bit different, Game of Spades Full-House has completely charmed me. The opening is a delightful blend of bergamot and orange, softened by neroli. But what really gets me are the spicy undertones of ginger and cinnamon, rounded out with a unique black tea note. I’ve heard it’s inspired by a Louis Vuitton fragrance, and it has that unmistakable Parisian elegance and artistry. It’s sophisticated yet incredibly inviting. And how can I forget Game of Spades Win? This fragrance is pure joy in a bottle! It opens with a vibrant mix of cassis, litchi, and mandarin orange – so juicy and uplifting. The heart blooms with peony and jasmine, eventually settling into a creamy vanilla and soft musk. Another Bond #9 inspiration, this one makes me feel playfully confident and ready to conquer the day. If you love a rich, complex scent, Game of Spades Ruby is an absolute must-try. The saffron and bergamot create an intriguing opening, leading to a luscious heart of rose and geranium. What truly captivates me is the deep amber and animalic civet in the dry down. This one is inspired by a Baccarat fragrance, and it shares that same intoxicating, luxurious, and slightly mysterious character. It's a showstopper! Finally, my current obsession, Game of Spades Royale. This one is just cozy and delicious! The hazelnut and cacao notes are so prominent and comforting, beautifully balanced by jasmine. It then deepens with cedar, a delicious caramel, and an earthy moss. This one, too, takes cues from a Bond #9 creation, and it’s perfect for when you want to feel chic, warm, and utterly irresistible. It’s a gourmand lover’s dream with a sophisticated twist. I'm still hoping to get my hands on others like 'Game of Spades All In' and 'Double Bonus' to complete my collection, but these six are truly fantastic representations of what the brand offers.
