Growing up as a Batangueña, I've always felt a deep connection to the culture and strong traditions of Batangas. The values of resilience and pride run deeply in our community, and as a proud single mom, these qualities have become even more significant in my daily life. Being a single mom is not without its challenges, but my Batangueña spirit keeps me grounded and motivated. I embrace every moment with my child, sharing the unique aspects of our heritage and instilling pride in where we come from. Whether it’s through our food, language, or celebrations, maintaining that cultural bond has been a beautiful part of our journey. I’ve also found a strong support network among fellow Batangueñas who understand the joys and struggles of parenting solo. This sense of community has uplifted me and reminded me that we are not alone in our experiences. Together, we celebrate our identity while empowering each other to keep moving forward.
