I brought the wrong usb stick for practice

2025/12/4 Edited to

... Read moreAs someone who often prepares for DJ practice sessions, I've definitely experienced the frustration of grabbing the wrong USB stick — especially when using Rekordbox with the CDJ-3000X. What I found most helpful when this happens is to stay calm and use the time to double-check your music library and playlists on the player screen. The CDJ-3000X displays tracks loaded from USBs clearly, so if your stick isn’t recognized or shows 'Not Loaded', it’s a sign to swap it out or troubleshoot quickly. I usually carry backup USBs with my main Rekordbox export just in case. It's also helpful to log in to your Rekordbox account on the player if you can, or make sure your software library is backed up to the cloud. An unexpected moment like this can also be an opportunity to explore new tracks or rethink your playlist. Sometimes, when the playlist doesn't load as planned, I use the player’s beat loop and cue features to improvise. This keeps the practice fun and improves your adaptability for live sets. Overall, always label your USB sticks, keep backups, and practice navigating your gear under unforeseen circumstances. This way, even if you bring the wrong USB stick, you can keep the music flowing without much disruption.

Brought son to see doctor just becoz of a plaster
I thought it was harmless, just a small habit kids have. But leaving it on too long (especially water-resistant ones) can trap moisture and cause infection. Lesson learned the hard way. If there’s no wound, don’t use a plaster. . . . #parentingtips #momlife #sgmom #toddlerlife
